GSA, the Global mobile Suppliers Association, is the forum for, and represents, the leading GSM/3G suppliers world-wide. It is an organization created to meet suppliers’ needs and already represents over 80% of GSM/3G market share globally. Membership is open to all suppliers of GSM/3G systems, devices, services, applications and solutions from across the entire supply chain.

GSA provides a single information resource for the industry including subscriber growth, GSM, EDGE and WCDMA/HSPA network deployments, device availability, and service successes. GSM/3G market and technology updates are provided on the website www.gsacom.com and in publications such as the GSM/3G Network Update. GSA also facilitates networking and dialogue between member companies for information sharing, business development opportunities, and access to the global market.

Organizing regular briefings is a key element of GSA programs and is targeted to the key influencers.

GSA co-operates with and supports other key organizations including 3GPP (GSA is a Market Representation Partner), COAI, ETSI, European Commission, GSMA, ITESAP, and ITU.
