Mobile broadband is the fastest growing market segment and mass market, as demonstrated by over 350 commercial networks serving more than half a billion users worldwide. 3G/HSPA systems are the main enabler and HSPA Evolution (HSPA+) is market reality allowing network operators to deliver the huge volumes of data, higher broadband speeds and low latency that customers are demanding for a better experience. The first LTE systems have launched and are performing well, and represent the path forward for most mobile and broadband wireless operators to ensure a step up in the user experience of mobile broadband. The coming months will see rapid rollout of both FDD LTE and TD-LTE networks creating new markets and business opportunities.
The objectives of the seminar are to foster new learning and business development opportunities, and enable the sharing of visions of technology and business solutions for delivering mobile broadband services to international and China markets.
Participants will come from across the mobile broadband value chain and eco-system, including mobile network operators, infrastructure, solutions and systems suppliers, device manufacturers, the content and technology developers community, universities and academic groups.
