Operators
How to joinThe Operators Zone is a free resource for GSM/3G operators, delivering information to support business development. Topics include market, services/applications updates, product and technology updates covering GSM/3G radio access evolution. Information about GSA-organized special events including operator-vendor seminars is available. Users participate in surveys for a wider understanding of views and trends.
Eligibility: employees of mobile network operators committed to the GSM-technology family (GSM/GPRS/EDGE/ WCDMA/HSDPA/LTE) and who have registered on the GSA website using their corporate email address for the User ID. Non-corporate addresses e.g. xxxxxx@gmail.com are assigned only public areas access.
Currently (mid-2010) there are in the region of 4,000 registered regular users from hundreds of network operator organizations worldwide and the number continues to grow. Representatives of the GSA member companies (i.e. the suppliers) also regularly visit the Operators Zone.
The Operators Zone facilitates an easy exchange of information on the important issues for the industry. It also provides an excellent pool of expertise and knowledge for conducting occasional surveys amongst its users.
