GSA APAC Chapter Chairman, Stephan Buchholz
Stephan Buchholz is heading the Mobile Networks Center of Competence, Asia Pacific at Siemens Communications since 2004. With his team he is responsible for providing sales support to Siemens projects in the region. He is based in Bangkok, Thailand. Stephan has more than 10 years of experience in the wireless industry, both in the fields of mobile communications and digital broadcasting. Since joining Siemens' Mobile Networks division in 1999, he held several senior positions in Strategic Product Planning, Technical Sales, and Sales.
Before joining Siemens, Stephan worked as a System Engineer for Fraunhofer Institut IIS, a leading R&D organization for digital broadcasting systems. He holds a Masters degree in both Electrical Engineering and European Science. Stephan is co-owner of seven patents related to digital broadcasting. He is currently based in Bangkok with his family.
